Except for a few highway sections, toll has to be paid. The «routes nationale» run paralelly to the highways, anyhow, there is a lot of traffic. Starting in Calais you may drive the highway A20 direction Toulouse or E11 direction Montpellier (La Languedocienne direction Narbonne/Barcelona). In Carcassonne please follow the signs direction Limoux. For all questions concerning the French highways please contact Autoroutes.


Access from direction Carcassonne: You will have to follow the signs to Limoux. In Limoux do not leave the main road until you nearly reach the end of the city. There you will have to take the route No. D121 direction Magrie and Roquetaillade. Follow this route until you reach Bouriege. Passing the little bridge turn to the right and follow the sign to Saint-Sernin. In Saint-Sernin Le Coustal is the first house after the churchyard on the right-hand side.

Access from direction Perpignan: Follow the street D117 direction Foix. Follow the route D117 to Quillan. In Quillan take the road D118 (general direction to Limoux). In the little city of Esperaza you change to the road D12 direction Montazels. Than you change to the route D121 direction Roquetaillade/Conilhac/Antugnac. Follow this road until you reach Bouriege. Passing the little bridge turn to the right and follow the sign to Saint-Sernin. In Saint-Sernin Le Coustal is the first house after the churchyard on the right-hand side.
